God’s glory covers the heavens

Joshua 2:1-3

1 A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth. 2 O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. 3 God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

Heavenly Father, we praise your holy name and the name of your Son, Jesus Christ! We lift up our feeble voices and thoughts to you and seek you in our hearts and minds. We pray that you would indeed revive in us the newness of life in Christ. Truly our problems are larger than us but nothing is larger than you. Your Word tells us to bring our burdens to you and so we do. We are burdened for our families, for our children and loved ones, for our friends and acquaintances. The world is filling with violence and the memory of your name is being attacked from all sides. Our children need you! They need to know your name and to know you as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray for a miracle. We pray that you would fill the Earth with your glory and open the hearts of those around us to know you!
