God asks Job…Can you…?

Job 9:2, 7-9

2 I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God? … 7 Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars. 8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. 9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

Galatians 3:13-14

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

DAILY PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we are your children, redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ through faith. Help us to grow in faith towards you and to break away from the sins that so often overcome us. Thank you Heavenly Father for answering the question of Job and for that answer being attainable. You are the Almighty creator of the universe and we are your creation. We confess that we have sinned and have broken your commandments. We pray for forgiveness and for grace. We pray that you would open our eyes to the fullness of your Spirit that lives inside of us. We pray that you would enable us to live as Christians in this dark and dying world and be a light to others for Christ’s sake.
