Topic: Make no friendship with an angry man

“Make no friendship with an angry man”

Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: 25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

Daughters, it is my sincerest desire that you would take these verses to heart. You will only be disappointed and hurt by making friends with angry men. Emotions are not bad, and even anger can be righteous, but a man who is often angry, is a dangerous person. Your heavenly Father as well as your earthly father, wishes that you would never choose such a man as a partner, a boyfriend, a husband or even as a friend. Watch carefully how men behave, so that you can know what they are really like. Angry men cannot hide their anger for long, and it will come out, sometimes in subtle ways. Are they cruel to certain people, do they become angry at odd times, are there certain words, events or people who cause them to become strongly agitated? When they are angry, are you frightened by their behavior? Do they hit you? If so, seek wisdom from God, and seek shelter for yourself. Desire to know a righteous man instead, one who exhibits the fruits of the spirit, not the wickedness of the flesh. These angry men will abuse you and cause you harm. Heed the wisdom given in the Book of wisdom; do not be friends with these men.
Are you angry? If so, is it righteous anger or is it anger from the flesh? We all become angry at times, but we must avoid becoming an angry person. An angry person is persistently angry, is easy to anger and uses anger as a way of life. Angry people forget to seek the Lord when they are provoked and end up suffering themselves. When you are angry, be careful that you do not behave foolishly. When you are angry and cannot help but be so, seek solace from God and avoid situations where you may strike out foolishly or do foolish and dangerous things.
